Delivering Results...
Helping Kids in Vaughan Stay Healthy and Active
This year, 60 children from Vaughan's Discovery Public School and Woodbridge Public School will have access to Ontario's After School Program through the Boys and Girls Club of York Region (Social Enterprise for Canada).

The After School Program helps deliver sport and recreation activities and healthy living programs to more than 21,000 children and youth at over 400 locations in priority neighbourhoods across the province.
Better Public Transit for York Region
For the 12th consecutive year, our government is providing support to York Region to improve its public transit system. This year, York Region will receive $15.3 million in Gas Tax funding, bringing the 12-year total investment in the region to $149.6 million.
With this support, the YRT  is able to offer reliable public transit service to almost 1.2 million residents through 125 routes across all nine area municipalities.
